Care built on trust, not guesswork.
We started Goshen Care because arranging trustworthy home care in Nigeria shouldn't depend on who you happen to know.

We started this because we couldn't find it ourselves.
When our co-founder's father was discharged after a stroke, our family did what most Nigerian families do: we pieced together care ourselves. A nurse for a few hours here, a neighbour's recommendation there, phone calls at odd hours trying to confirm someone was actually qualified. It worked, barely, and it took a toll none of us talk about enough.
We built Goshen Care because families deserve better than piecing it together. Every parent aging in place, every patient recovering from surgery, every person managing a long-term condition deserves a caregiver who is genuinely qualified, genuinely vetted, and genuinely present, and every family deserves the peace of mind that comes with that, whether they're down the road or on another continent.
Today, we work with nurses and caregivers across Nigeria who share that same standard of care. It's still personal to us. It still feels like family.
The values behind every visit
These aren't words on a wall. They're what we hire for, train for, and measure our caregivers against.
Dignity
Every person we care for is treated with the respect and privacy they deserve, never spoken over, never rushed, never reduced to a diagnosis.
Compassion
Care is more than a task list. Our caregivers show up with patience and warmth, the way they'd want their own family looked after.
Reliability
Families are trusting us with something precious. That means showing up on time, every time, and communicating clearly when plans change.
Excellence
From clinical skill to bedside manner, we hold our caregivers to a high standard, and keep raising it through ongoing training.
Trust isn't assumed here, it's verified
Before a caregiver ever meets your family, they've been through a process built to catch what a resume can't tell you.
Identity & background checks
Every caregiver's identity, address, and criminal record are verified before they're considered for a single family match.
Credential verification
Nursing licenses, certifications and qualifications are checked directly against issuing bodies, not just taken at face value.
Skills & competency assessment
Clinical skills, from wound care to medication administration, are tested in practice by our in-house nursing supervisors.
Ongoing supervision
Care doesn't stop being monitored after day one. Supervisors conduct regular home visits and check-ins throughout every placement.
